In recently held DC/JCM staff side raised the issue of provision of medical facility to infants of the Railway medical beneficiaries in the absence of UMID Card. In order to avoid the hardships being faced by Railway medical beneficiaries in getting medical treatment to their newborns in the absence of UMID Card, it is advised that provisions are available in HMIS for urgent generation of UMID cards for newborn babies of railway beneficiaries.
