Sub:   Endorsement on Special Passes, issued on medical ground, for issue of Pass for return journey. As per Rule No.3(ii) under Col(3) of Item No.(1) (On Medical Grounds) of Schedule-VII of Railway Servants (Pass) Rules, 1986 (Second Edition-1993) [RSPR- 1986], a Special Pass on medical ground (hereinafter referred to as Me-dical Pass) for return journey may be issued by the Railway within whose jurisdiction the hospital is located. However, a stamped endorsement to this effect is required to be made on the outward Medical Pass, by the PIA of the parent Railway. 2.
