Subject: Instruction to stop Facility of Payment of Subscriptions/ Contribution to Tier-II Account of NPS through Credit Card -Urgent

The Authority has decided to stop the facility of payment of subscriptions/contributions using credit card as a mode of payment in the Tier-II account of NPS. Accordingly, all PoPs are advised to stop the acceptance of credit card as a mode of payment for the Tier-II account of NPS with immediate effect.

2. This circular is issued in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 2013 to protect the interests of subscribers and to regulate, promote and ensure orderly growth of the National Pension System and pension schemes to which the Act applies.

विषय : क्रेडिट कार्ड के माध्यम से एनपीएस के टियर-II खाते में सदस्यता/अंशदान के भुगतान की सुविधा को रोकने के निर्देश – अत्यावश्यक

प्राधिकरण ने एनपीएस के टियर-] खाते में भुगतान के तरीके के रुप में क्रेडिट कार्ड का उपयोग करके सदस्यता/अंशदान के भुगतान की सुविधा को रोकने का निर्णय लिया है। तदनुसार, सभी पीओपी को सलाह दी जाती है कि वे तत्काल प्रभाव से एनपीएस के टियर-I खाते के भुगतान के तरीके के रूप में क्रेडिट कार्ड की स्वीकृति को रोक दें।

2, यह परिपत्र पेंशन निधि नियामक और विकास प्राधिकरण अधिनियम, 2013 की धारा 14 के तहत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए अभिदाताओं के हितों की रक्षा करने और राष्ट्रीय पेंशन प्रणाली और पेंशन योजनाओं के व्यवस्थित विकास को विनियमित करने, बठावा देने और सुनिश्चित करने के लिए जारी किया गया है, जिन पर यह अधिनियम लागू होता है।
