The Big Victory of Bharat Pensioners Samaj

This landmark case was tirelessly taken up by Shri V. K. Taneja, Editor of Bharat Pensioners Samaj, and has finally been resolved after a long struggle.

The case concerned Ms. Sushma Mishra, daughter of Late Shri Ram Lagan Mishra, who had served as a Chowkidar at Swami Dayanand Senior Secondary Girls School, Old Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi. Her claim for family pension had been pending for over a decade.

With the persistent efforts of Shri V. K. Taneja and continuous follow-up with the higher authorities of the Government of NCT Delhi, justice has now been delivered.

On 13th September 2025, Ms. Sushma Mishra confirmed that she has finally received her family pension along with arrears, amounting to approximately ₹16,62,000 (Sixteen Lakh Sixty-Two Thousand Rupees).

This is a big victory for Bharat Pensioners Samaj and a shining example of how dedicated efforts can bring long-delayed justice to pensioners and their families.
