Bharat Pensioners Samaj Represents Pensioners at Aditya Birla-IIM Madras 'Sustenance Live Week' Conference!

New Delhi, 30th September 2024 – Bharat Pensioners Samaj (BPS) made a significant impact at the 'Sustenance Live Week' conference, organized by the Aditya Birla Group in partnership with IIM Madras at the India International Centre, New Delhi. The event was attended by S.C. Maheshwari, Secretary General of BPS, and V.K. Taneja, Editor of the Bharat Pensioner magazine, who were invited as key BPS representatives.

During the conference, BPS representatives shared the organization's news magazine and their concept paper for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funding with various corporate dignitaries, including the Chief Guest, the former Chief Secretary of West Bengal. The interaction with the former  chief Secretary proved to be constructive, with BPS showcasing its dedication to addressing issues faced by pensioners and senior citizens.

BPS is further honored to receive another prestigious invitation from the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) for a conference at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, on 18th October 2024, where critical issues affecting senior citizens will be discussed. This recognition underscores BPS's growing influence and commitment to advocating for the rights and welfare of pensioners across India.
