UPCabinet Decision 
Regarding implementation of recommendation No. 44.11 (ii) of the Second National Judicial Pay Commission regarding pension, family pension and gratuity etc. of retired judicial officer

The Cabinet has approved the proposal to implement recommendation No. 44.11 (ii) of the Second National Judicial Pay Commission regarding pension, family pension and gratuity etc. of retired judicial officers, which states that "If the date of increment in salary of a retiring judicial officer falls immediately on the next day of his retirement date, then such officer's pension shall be calculated by adding one increment to his basic salary. The said increment shall be for the purpose of pension only and shall be subject to a vertical ceiling of Rs. 2,24,100".

The proposed matter relates to the salary increase of retiring judicial officers, which has been accepted by the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court dated May 19, 2023.

UP मंत्रिमंडल ने स्वीकृत किया है कि रिटायर हुए न्यायिक अधिकारियों की पेंशन, परिवार पेंशन और ग्रेच्युटी आदि के संबंध में दूसरी राष्ट्रीय न्यायिक वेतन आयोग की सिफारिश संख्या 44.11 (ii) कार्यान्वित करने के प्रस्ताव को स्वीकृत किया है, जिसमें कहा गया है कि "यदि किसी रिटायर होने वाले न्यायिक अधिकारी की वेतन में वृद्धि की तारीख उसके सेवानिवृत्ति की तारीख के तुरंत अगले दिन पड़ती है, तो ऐसे अधिकारी की पेंशन की गणना उसके मूल वेतन में एक इंक्रीमेंट जोड़कर की जाएगी। कहीं न कही, यह इंक्रीमेंट केवल पेंशन के उद्देश्य के लिए होगी और इसका उच्चतम सीमा आरुबी 2,24,100 रुपये के अंदर होगी।"
