DEFENCEbe pleased to state:-


(a) whether the Government has successfully implemented One Rank One Pension Scheme (OROP) for the soldiers;
(b) if so, the details and the present status of the implementation of the scheme;
(c) whether there has been undue delay in the implementation of the scheme and if so, the reasons therefor along with the expected time scheduled to complete the said process;
(d) whether there is any loop-holes in its implementation that is making few of the soldiers to run
from pillar to post in order to get their grievances rectified; and
(e) whether there is a separate cell in the Ministry with dedicated staff to look into the matters of OROP and if so, the details thereof?

(a): Yes, Sir.
(b): The Government has implemented One Rank One Pension (OROP) vide MoD letter no. 12(1)/2014/D(Pen/Pol)-Part-II dated 07.11.2015 and tables for fixation of pension were issued vide MoD letter no. 12(1)/2014/D(Pen/Policy)-Part-II dated 03.02.2016.
