DoPPW Organizes 8th National Anubhav Awards & 57th Pre-Retirement Counselling Workshop Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi – 18th August 2025

 The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) successfully organized the 8th National Anubhav Awards Ceremony alongside the 57th Pre-Retirement Counselling Workshop on 18th August 2025 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

The event was inaugurated with Deep Prajwalan (lamp lighting) and addressed by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State (PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions).

Key Highlights of the Programme

Dignitaries Present

  • Shri V. Srinivas, Secretary, DoPPW delivered an inspiring address highlighting pension reforms, digital initiatives, and the government’s commitment towards enhancing pensioners’ welfare.

  • Shri Dhurab Jyoti Sen Gupta, Joint Secretary, DoPPW spoke on policy implementation and ongoing reforms for smooth pension disbursement.

Participation from Bharat Pensioners Samaj (BPS)

Shri R. K. Chauhan, President, Bharat Pensioners Samaj (BPS), attended the event and represented the pensioners’ community. His presence reaffirmed BPS’s commitment to advancing pensioners’ welfare and promoting digital inclusion for senior citizens across India.

The ceremony also celebrated the contributions of retiring employees through the Anubhav Awards, honouring those who shared rich experiences and institutional memories for the benefit of future generations.
