Sub: Organising Nation-wide Pension Adalat on 23rd August, 2019-regarding

Madam/Sir,

Ministry of Personnel Public Grievances & Pensions Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare vide D.O No. 1/12/2019-P&PW(G) dated 28.06.2019 (Copy enclosed) on the above cited subject has issued instructions to all the Ministries/Departments that it has been decided by the Government that as part of its 100-day impactful initiatives, nation-wide Pension Adalats be conducted by each Ministry/ Department/ Organisation/ Field formations on Friday, 23th August, 2019. Hence, wide publicity may be given to Pension Adalat and cases for the Adalat may be shortlisted before hand.

2. In this regard, attention is also invited to Head Office letter of even No. dated 03.07.2019 wherein instructions on appointment of Nodal Officers and Grievance officers for issues related to Pensioners has been issued.

3. Therefore, further action may be taken by all the Addl. CPFC In Charge in Zones/ZTIs/RPFCs (In-Charge) in Regional Offices to ensure that the Pension Adalat in respect of the retired employees of the Central Board may be held in accordance with the spirit of the Government of India instructions and report may be sent to Head Office by Addl. CPFC (Zones) on the arrangements and publicity undertaken by the respective RPFCs for holding the Pension Adalats on 23 August, 2019, within a fortnight and by 09.08.2019 positively.
