UNMUKT Thanks BPS

Dear Mr. Maheshwari,

On behalf of the Unmukt Festival, I would like to thank you and Bharat Pensioners Samaj for participating in the Festival held at HITEX, Hyderabad on 15 & 16 December, 2018.

Unmukt Festival was designed as a single platform for products and services designed for senior citizens. In addition Unmukt had multiple sessions, to create awareness about issues affecting senior life in India. As we know, the proportion of senior citizens in India is growing at a rapid rate and the impact of this shift in the demographic of the country is bound to change social and economic dynamics of the country sooner than we expect.  There is an urgent need to reach out to relevant groups affected by this change to bring to their awareness products and services that have the potential to improve the quality of life of seniors in their families and communities. Unmukt was planned and implemented to address that need and we feel that the objective was well met. 

The launch event of Unmukt Festival was a success, thanks to your support and participation. We particularly appreciate your support in raising awareness about Unmukt through your wide online reach. It was very heartening to see so many members of BPS and affiliates visiting the event and moving around the stalls and workshops. The BPS stall was a hub of activity in itself and we believe that many people must have benefited from your presence, as your team worked tirelessly to clarify doubts and raise awareness of new developments affecting pensioners. We especially thank you for all the support extended in the lead up to the event and for your personal presence on 15 December. Mr. Suryanarayan’s talk was very informative and enlightening and I will send you the video of the same as soon as we are done with post-production of the same. Ms. Bhagayavathy’s and Mr. Chandramouli’s  active participation in setting up the stall was an inspiration to us. In addition Ms. Bhagyavathy’s personal support to our team was very much appreciated, both before and during the event. It was our privilege to felicitate her as one of our model senior citizens who are making an impact both at a personal and community level in the city of Hyderabad.

All in all, we can say that Bharat Pensioners Samaj was an ideal partner to the Festival and added much value to the same. We appreciate and thank you and your team for your presence as each connect with the community helps us to carry forward our initiative to build a movement for senior citizens.
