7th Pay Commission Pay Hike for Maharashtra Govt Employees
The State Government of Maharashtra decided to implement the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission to its employees and Pensioners.
After taking the decision in the Cabinet Committee Meeting chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the Finance Minister of the Maharashtra State Mungantiwar announced the implementation will benefit as many as 20.50 lakh government employees.
The permanent State Government Employees and Teachers will get the pay hike benefit and also get arrears form the retrospective date from 1.1.2016. The Pay Commission Arrears will be issued in Five Installments. The arrears amount will be credited to the GPF account of the employees.
And State Government Pensioners also get the impact of the pay commission implementation with effect from 1.1.2016. Pensioners monthly pension also to hike after taking this decision.
The minimum pay may be fixed as Rs.15000 for Group D employees and Rs.18000 for Group C employees.
