Sub : Clarification regarding acceptance of qualification for providing employment on the railways - appointment on ground regarding.

Ref : North Western Railway’s letter No. 740-E/R&T/CGA/JP/PR/2014/06/7/2015 & 17/9/2015.

The issue contained in letters quoted above has been examined and it is clarified that in case of compassionate ground appointment possession of prescribed qualification need not be confused with the date of offer of appointment/approval date or the schedule of training to the post. The applicant need  to be in possession of prescribed qualification for the post he/she is being considered in terms of instructions valid on the date of his/her screening.

The matter may be disposed of accordingly ;
