Dear all. In Bharat Central Pensioners Confederation (BCPC) M C meeting following  suggestions for terms of reference for 7th CPC have been finalized today . These suggestions will now be submitted to GOVT.through BCPC,BPS & JCM(Staff side)

Suggestions  for terms of reference of 7 th CPC with respect to Pensioners 1.    To examine with a view to having a proper pension structure for pensioners and family pensioners both past and future so that all pensioners irrespective of pre retirement status get equal percentage rise in pension through full parity as well as through normal consolidation. 2.    To examine the existing pension structure including death-cum-retirement, commutation of pension and other terminal or recurring benefits, upholding the principal of Parity in Pension between past and future pensioners as recommended by V CPC and make recommendations there to be effective from 01.01.2006. 3.    To consider the merger of Dearness Relief wef 1.1.2011 and grant of suitable Interim Relief with immediate effect. 4.    To consider the unimplemented recommendation of 5 th & 6 th CPC. 5.    To consider enhancement of% of pension & family pe...

Representatives of AIFPA, Chennai met Dr.Pande ED Medical (Planning and requested him to initiate action to amend the definition of ‘family’ in the Railway Manual to include the widowed/Divorced/unmarried daughters and handicapped son/daughter of a Railway Pension.  He has agreed to examine the issue as some Railways refuses to issue smart card and other benefits in the absence specific inclusion of them in the Definition of ‘Family ‘ in the Railway Manual. 2. EPS95 i.e. Employees Pension Scheme 95:   You may be stunned to know that there are pensioners in this country who get as little a pension as Rs4/- per month . 18.7 lakh EPS95 pensioners in this country get less than Rs 500 per month & as low as Rs4/ per month, while about 15 laky of these pensioners get pension ranging between Rs 500 and Rs 1,000.
