Dear Comrade ,
BPS is thankful to you for your.letter dated 04.08.2023 addressed to DGRHS. I would  like to bring to your knowledge that   thousands of Rly pensioners are unable to get UMID cards due to revised PPOs nt available on Arpan. Those drawing pensions from post offices have not been provided revised PPOs.  All PPOs generated by different zones have not been uploaded to Arpan.
Majority of Private empanelled hospitals in violation of MOU (i)Refuse to provide treatment on payment of CGHS rates in case of unreferred cases and the MDs/CMS concerned side with the Private empanelled hospitals instead of helping Rly beneficiaries. (ii) Going against MOU severasl private empanelled hospitals still insists upon attendants/ Patients admitted in emergencies to bring referral letters from the competent Railway authority. (iii)Railway’s competent authority gives validity of 2 or 3 days in the referral letter whereas it should be the prerogative of the treating Doctor.
BPS shall be obliged if kindly take up these issues & pursue to logical end.
Thanking you
With regards
Comradely yours,
S.C.Maheshwari
SG/BPS
