BPS demands immediate constitution of 8th CPC

 Comrades,

Central Government of India has not accepted the 7th CPC recommendation to do away with the need for further pay commissions for the revision of salaries &pensions of its employees & thus it is high time to constitute the 8th CPC to ensure its implementation wef 01.01.2026. BPS and its MOU partners AIFPA Chennai & NFRP Palakkad as well as few of our affiliated Associations have raised the demand to constitute the 8th CPC without further delay.  In my opinion, strategically this is the most opportune time to demand the constitution of 8th CPC, but unless to strengthen the demand, each of the pensioners’ associations also raises this demand, it will be difficult to get a pay commission this time.
