Dear Reader,
Your comment on the article ''104 retired railway staffers felicitated'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com.
''It is an exceptionally good gesture on part of Allahabad Division to felicitate and give a Coin along with all retirement dues on the day of retirement to 104 employees. We wish that all offices of Indian Railways should follow this and invite retired employees during Railway Week and arrange Special Programmes for their Retired Employees on International Day of Older Persons on 1st October every year. It is the duty of Indian Railways to ensure that the concerns of their retired employees are to be sympathetically are kept in view and their legitimate place in society is strenthened and they are enabled to live their last phase of life with purpose, dignity and peace.''

Dear Reader,
Your comment on the article ''Universalization of old age pension long overdue'' is now displayed on timesofindia.com.
''Decision of Government on Universalization of Pension may take time. Immediate action is necessary to remove the condition imposed by Rural Ministry about belonging to BPL Family as per 13 parameters depriving very large number of BPL Senior Citizens of this mockery-type meagre pension announced by Prime Minister !. According to the Speech of Prime Minister dt 19-11-07 for launching IGNOAP was for providing a Social Safety Net for poor %26 vulnerable and to universalize coverage to all those who are old, poor and needy. According to his commitment to Nation on 15 th August, 2007, this Old Age Pension was to be paid to all citizens above 65(now 60) years and living below poverty line. There are no orders from his side to restrict this pension to only those belonging to BPL Family. This unauthorized condition of Belonging to BPL Family must be removed forthwith and registration of BPL Senior Citizens should be continuous and not five year Special Census!! BPL in cities are the Most Sufferers.''
