1.Ujwala Bhalchandra Wasnik :

PPO Number: 19897340500158 Unmarried daughter of late Bhalchandra Wasnik, Sr. Clerk under Sr. DPO Nagpur

Cse resolved after a four-year struggle due to a missing file, a PPO was finally issued in her favor. She received arrears amounting to Rs. 6,68,000. Written appeals to DRM Nagpur for sanctioning her minimum provisional pension were instrumental in this success.

2.Mina Mahendra Patil

Widow daughter of Late Mahadeo Sonoo, Ex Khalasi Engineering Gondia

 After  numerous correspondences over four years, perseverance paid off. Ms. Patil received arrears totaling Rs. 5,40,000 upon the issuance of her PPO.

Widow daughter of Late Sadashiv Pitto, Passenger Driver Loco/Nagpur

A Triumph of Justice: Resolving Smt. Sudhaben P. Upadhyaya's Long-Pending Family Pension Case

In the annals of bureaucratic hurdles and administrative challenges, there occasionally emerges a beacon of hope—a success story that restores faith in the system and brings solace to those in need. Such is the tale of Smt. Sudhaben P. Upadhyaya, wife of the late Shri Pramod chandra J. Upadhyay, a dedicated employee of BSNL in Vadodara.

Since long, Smt. Sudhaben P. Upadhyaya found herself entangled in the labyrinth of bureaucracy, fighting tirelessly for her rightful family pension. Despite her perseverance, the wheels of justice seemed to turn agonizingly slow, leaving her in a state of uncertainty and financial strain.

However, the turning point came with the intervention of Director (PP) at the Department of Pension & Pensioners' Welfare. Recognizing the urgency and importance of Smt. Sudhaben P. Upadhyaya's case, the Director (PP) took swift action, cutting through the red tape and streamlining the process.

Finally, on the 15th of April, 2024, the much-awaited breakthrough arrived. Smt. Sudhaben P. Upadhyaya's family pension, retroactively effective from 20th September 2023, was sanctioned, bringing an end to her prolonged ordeal. The Pension Payment Order (PPO) No. 402011021200667 stood as a testament to her perseverance and the unwavering support of the Department.

The resolution of Smt. Sudhaben P. Upadhyaya's case not only secured her rightful entitlement but also symbolized a triumph of justice and compassion. It underscored the pivotal role that dedicated individuals, like the Director (PP) at the Department of Pension & Pensioners' Welfare, play in ensuring that the rights and dignity of pensioners are upheld.

As her long-fought battle finally culminated in victory, Smt. Sudhaben P. Upadhyaya's story serves as an inspiration.

, Smt. Julia Rani shared her success story, thanking the Pensioners' Association of Railways, an affiliate of Bharat Pensioners Samaj, for their dedicated efforts. Her pension, inclusive of 4% enhanced D.R. arrears from November 2023 to March 2024, was successfully credited by UBI  This accomplishment underscores the importance of collective advocacy in ensuring pensioners receive their rightful dues.
