CONTRACTUAL APPOINTMENT

101 SHRI RITESH PANDEY:

Will the Minister of RAILWAYS be pleased to state:

(a) whether the number of persons recruited through Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have been declining in the recent years and if so, the details thereof during the last three years;

(b) whether the number of contractual appointments are steadily increasing in the Railways in the recent years and if so, the details thereof during the last three years;

(c) whether the general public has expressed concern over privatisation of Railways which is causing loss of jobs in the direct recruitment of RRBs; and

(d) if so, the details thereof and the response of the Government in this regard?
