Subject: Grant of Disability Element to Armed Force Personnel who were retained in service despite of disability attributable to or aggravated by Military Service and subsequently proceeded on premature/voluntary retirement prior to 01.01.2006.
Government of India, Ministry of Defence Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare vide their letter No. 16(5)/2008/D(Pension/Policy) dated 19th May, 2017 has issued order on the above subject matter. The same has been uploaded on HQrs. Office website viz. www.cgda.nic.in that may please be downloaded and circulated to all concerned with necessary implementation instructions. The copy of the implementation instructions may also be uploaded on your website under intimation to this HQrs. Office.
