Sub:- Replacement of BSR code with IFSC code in e-pension debit scrolls. Ref:- Ministry of Railways letter  no. D-43 /43/2020-FE-III dated 21.7.2020 (RBE No. 55/2020) At present, e-pension debit scrolls received from PSBs contain BSR code of the bank branch disbursing Railway pension as one of the mandatory fields. Reconciliation of pension payments are done by Railways after mapping this BSR code to the corresponding IFSC code of the pensioner’s bank branch. This process is time consuming and is posing difficulty in reconciliation of pension debits.
