WELFARE ACTIVITIES BY BHARAT PENSIONERS SAMAJ affiliated Pensioners Association-MIZORAM CIVIL PENSIONERS ASSOCIATION headquartered at AIZWAL

One of our affiliate i.e. MIZORAM CIVIL PENSIONERS ASSOCIATION headquartered  at AIZWAL With a membership of 12200 through its 177 branches spread all over Mizoram has been running Endowment Fund with donations  by each members of its Branches ,the rate of which differs on the basis of Basic Pay of the Pensioners. At present the cumulated amount of the fund is Rs 77,83,963 (Seventy seven lakhs, eighty three thousand, nine hundred sixty three) which is kept in Term Deposit at Apex Bank, Aizwal. The interest from this amount is disbursed quarterly to the members suffering from critical illness like cancer, stroke etc.. The last disbursement was made on 7/8/2020. The total beneficiaries , this time comes to 99 and given @ Rs3,000 each , total of which comes to Rs 2,97,000/- only. This effort of  the MIZORAM CIVIL PENSIONERS ASSOCIATION deserves appreciation from all quarters especially from DOP &PW.
